About me
I hold a BA in Technology of Graphic Arts, TEI of Athens and a MA in Animation, UCA Surrey.
I am always up to date with current developments in Arts and design, visual communication and 3D Animation and I have a great interest in the way that character Animations and 3D motion graphics affect the 3D digital world environments today.
I have knowledge of 3D and 2D designing software such as Maya, ZBrush, Marvellous Designer, Vue and Adobe Master Collection as well including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator.
WORK PROCESS
Drawing sketches and character conceptual art, modelling in 3D and digital sculpting is my passion. I also like drawing comics and developing my ideas as storyboards. Preferably I would be really interested to work on model creation both organic and non-organic. So far my work based on model abstract design that derives from scratch models in a more concept art style, trying to combine the prototype approach with technology, by using Maya for the development and Zbrush for the final details and texturing.
Despite the fact that I have been creating several prototypes for my MA research / practice-based projects I am always experimenting with contemporary various methods and approaches.
I have the ability to communicate ideas and inspire colleagues as well as to function equally as a team member or as individual and will offer me the opportunity to interact with people equally passionate on my subject. Working in a 3D Conceptual character design & Animation environment for me is a vocation first and then a job.
